SC Autism Society will hold it's second Best Practice Series on Introduction to Applied Behavior Analysis and Systematic Instruction. Classes will be held each Thursday from April 3-June 5 from 3:30 p.m.-5:30 p.m. at the SC Autism Society, located at 806 12th Street in West Columbia, SC. These courses are being offered at no cost. There will be a possible 20 total contact hours available for this seminar, based on your attendance performance. Dr. Erik Drasgow is a professor of educational psychology at the USC. Dr. Drasgow is interested in research on functional assessment & positive behavior support plans, language & communication intervention for individuals with severe disabilities, special education law & deafness. Dr. Drasgow has published numerous articles & chapters. He has also made many presentations, workshops, and has consulted on topics such as conducting an functional behavioral assessment, behavior support plans, applied behavior analysis & more. Dr. Drasgow is a member of a variety of organizations. He has been involved with grant development since 1997, with his latest project being EXPERTS, South Carolina Department of Exceptional Students. |
