This has come to my attention just as friends and I have been discussing the various problems we encounter in our individual church settings. I intend to suggest this program be studied by my home-church, and also at that of a friend of mine since we have both experienced problems with our special needs children. It is evident that the people managing the children in our churches have good intentions, but they don't take you seriously when you explain the particular problems/concerns of your child. It is time that the leaders of our special young ones were given training in how to handle certain situations, and furthermore, that some issues concerning our children are matters of life and death (allergies, particularly) which we have witnessed being disregarded routinely by some people in leadership roles. I would like to thank all who are involved in bringing this issue to the fore.
