Autism Awareness in April

April was Autism Awareness month and SCAS was supported by many organizations, including Earthfare, during this month to raise awareness of the increasing numbers of individuals affected by this developmental disorder.

Earthfare at 3312-B Devine St. in Columbia supported SC Autism Society and Autism Awareness in April, 2007. During the month, SCAS employees and supporters offered recycled grocery bags to Earthfare customers, and along with the generous donations and purchase of merchandise, SCAS received $893.46 in donations during the month.
